The GT Super Sprint Challenge (GTSSC) is a newly created GT series open to GT2, GT3, GT4, and GTC cars. GTSSC was conceived to cater especially to amateur racing car drivers who want to participate in a professionally managed GT racing series with the highest organizational standards and fair play as the core ethos of the series. The 2021 season will feature five events, hosted in conjunction with a top national series. Each event will be held on Grade 1 or Grade 2 circuits around China and consists of two 27-minutes races. The provisional calendar for 2021 includes Shanghai Formula 1 Circuit, Ningbo, Zhuzhou, and Ordos, with the venue of the Grand Final to be announced shortly.
Pirelli is the official tyre supplier for GTSSC. Top Speed Shanghai Ltd is the organizer of GTSSC.
